Since the
1940s, the Rybinsk Shipyard has built a large number of
Admiral-type boats. Many have come to appreciate this
small yet fast vessel for its excellent seakeeping abilities and
classic design. However, by modern standards, the lack of
leisure space and comfort prevented the boat from securing a
prominent spot among the most prestigious vessels for recreation
and travel.
Following the
principle that "everything old is new again," the Sea Tech
company converted the Admiral boat into a high-comfort vessel—Project
371M (2002).
The designers
were tasked with maintaining the traditionally superior
seakeeping qualities of the original project, while preserving
its retro style and providing modern living standards.
Extensive
development led to a new project that fits perfectly within the
silhouette of the original boat, yet offers enhanced consumer
features through innovative solutions. By installing a Volvo
Penta diesel engine, internal volumes were optimized to
comfortably accommodate up to four people. The vessel’s
superstructure is crafted from fine wood. The stylish new
superstructure, combined with the classic hull, creates a
memorable and harmonious retro look.
The boat
complies with the standards of the Russian River Register.
Visitors to
the Posidonia 2002 (Greece) and Moscow Boat Show 2003
exhibitions highly praised the project's originality. The
primary demand for this boat has come from both Russian maritime
enthusiasts and international businessmen from the UK, Germany,
Latvia, and the Netherlands.
We offer design packages and
CNC cutting files (kits) for the DIY construction of the
371M project.
