Purpose: Passenger transportation on medium and long-range transit lines during daylight hours.

Along with seaworthiness, special attention was paid to enhancing habitability for passengers and crew during long voyages (8+ hours). Vessel safety is further supported by a fuel range of 13 hours (see General Arrangement of the preliminary design).
