River Passenger Hydrofoil

Full design cycle

 

General Arrangement. A streamlined passenger vessel equipped with two hydrofoils. The layout features a central passenger cabin, with the engine room (ER) and cargo compartment located aft. The forward section includes crew rest cabins, a mess room, a passenger service block, and a wheelhouse partially recessed into the superstructure.

Hull & Superstructure. The hull and superstructure are of all-welded construction, utilizing extruded panels, sheets, and profiles. A longitudinal framing system is used, with a mixed framing system at the extremities.

Transverse spacing: 500 mm (400 mm in the bow); web frames included.

Longitudinal spacing: 200 mm.

Material: 1561 aluminum alloy.

Plating: 3 mm bottom and side plating (extruded panels). Superstructure deck: 2 mm corrugated sheet.

Foil System. "Canard" foil configuration. Overall draft is limited by operational requirements.

Hot and cold water coolers for passengers and crew (19 L PET bottles)

Folding telescopic ramp and dedicated onboard wheelchair for persons with reduced mobility

Fixed mast with access from the wheelhouse roof

Vessel systems: domestic fresh water, domestic seawater, potable water, sewage and gray water, scuppers, water heating, ventilation, air conditioning, wheelhouse window demisting, bilge/dewatering, oily bilge water, firefighting
