Key Modifications (compared to the Base Design):
- Internal Layout: Revised interior
arrangement and vessel communications within the existing
compartments.
- Main Engine: Replaced with a ~150 HP
diesel-reduction gear unit (based on the 3D6 diesel engine).
- Auxiliary Power: Installed a 20 kW AC
diesel generator (3-phase, 50Hz, 380V).
- System Upgrades: Overhaul of heating,
water treatment, sewage (black water), and fire-extinguishing
systems.
- Navigation & Communication: Modernized
suite including radio, bridge equipment, and GPS.
- Superstructure: Extended forward towards
the bow.
- Steering Gear: Installation of twin
rudders with a wire-rope steering drive.
- Towing Equipment: Installed a towing
bitt for hook attachment (for towing astern).
Preserved Features:
The conversion retains the original hull, subdivision (compartment
layout), and portions of the superstructure. Additionally, the
following elements are preserved:
- Engine room casing and ladder access.
- Rubbing strake and mast.
- Shaft line and propeller.
- Anchoring and mooring equipment.
- Towing bitts for towing alongside.
- Specific engine room systems.
- Modular assembly principle (enabling reassembly of the hull,
superstructure, and railings after rail transit without welding). |
