Project SMT50 is a marine expedition motor yacht designed for long-range cruising. The project was co-developed by Sea Tech and the New Shipyard company in 2006. The vessel was built in China in 2008.

The yacht’s exterior, crafted in the tradition of classic trawler yachts, is sleek, elegant, and functional. The vessel provides all the necessary conditions for long-distance voyages in comfort and safety. Its steel hull ensures a long service life, along with ease of maintenance and repair. With a hull modeled after a Norwegian trawler, superior seakeeping is guaranteed even in severe weather conditions. The vessel complies with CE Class A (Ocean) standards. Its reliability was further proven during a transatlantic crossing.

This project laid the foundation for the motor yacht lineup and the entire business of the renowned international company Bering Yachts, which specializes in the design and construction of steel marine and ocean-going trawler yachts.
