Elan-12 is a popular 2005 project and one of the first Russian-built houseboats.

The Elan-12 river catamaran houseboat was designed by Sea Tech for the FRAM Motor Yachts company. Elan-12 is a pleasure craft intended for river cruises, tourism, family vacations, and business meetings.

The Elan houseboat is a cozy home equipped with everything needed for a full-scale vacation and an enjoyable journey. It represents an excellent compromise for people who love river nature and city comfort.

The vessel's low weight and dimensions make the Elan faster and more maneuverable than other houseboats, as well as convenient to transport. Its shallow draft allows the vessel to enter quiet, non-navigable rivers and picturesque shallow bays. At the same time, the boat is perfectly adapted for long voyages, boasting a high-quality finish and a wide range of equipment.

The exterior of the Elan was developed by the Sea Tech Design Studio. The image shows the concept design phase appearance (which was modified during production).

The flagship vessel Elan-12 was built at the end of 2006 in Volgograd at the FRAM shipyard under the leadership of CEO S. Skardov. The vessel caused a sensation at the Moscow Boat Show in the spring of 2007 as a high-class, top-tier houseboat that had no domestic counterparts at the time.

The catamaran's high performance and handling characteristics, simple and cost-effective production cycle, and modular design - which allows for easy interior layout modifications - make the Elan an excellent platform for producing small vessels for various purposes.

From 2006 to 2013, FRAM carried out serial construction of the Project E12 houseboats and various modifications based on its hull.
