In June 2014, three ST23WI project boats were launched:

"Kapitan Belyaev" (port of registry — Kaliningrad),

"Sergey Cherednichenko" (Vladivostok), and "Nord" (Vostochny).

Sea trials of the vessels took place in September–October.

In late October, the boats departed for their respective ports of registry.
