Arrangement & Layout
The hull is divided
into 4 watertight compartments:
- Forepeak: Includes a
chain locker and store, with a ballast tank
located below.
- Accommodation Spaces: Features a special
personnel cabin, messroom, food heating
station (galley area), captain’s and
engineer’s cabins, drying room, and sanitary
unit. A dry compartment is located beneath
the platform.
- Engine Room: Houses the main propulsion
plant, auxiliary machinery, sea chests (ice
boxes), as well as fuel and sewage tanks.
- Afterpeak: Contains the steering gear
compartment and a chain locker.
Deckhouse:
The wheelhouse is positioned on the
forecastle deck. The upper deck features
funnel casings, ventilation ducts, and a
companionway providing internal access to
the accommodation hold, engine room, and
wheelhouse.
Working Deck:
The upper deck and the stern crinoline (at
deck level) are designed for the storage,
transportation, and maintenance of sea buoys.
For these operations, the vessel is equipped
with a specialized winch and a cargo crane.
