The preliminary design for the high-speed boat Ohta
(Project O10) was developed by Sea Tech in 2005.
In 2009, the detailed design (working documentation) for a
modified version, Project ST10W, was released.
The Ohta is a multi-purpose vessel. One of its primary
intended roles is as a high-speed transport for delivering shift
crews to remote Siberian regions. Its shallow draft and waterjet
propulsion allow the boat to navigate shallow waters and marshy
areas. A high operational speed (over 40 km/h) significantly
reduces travel time. The vessel can transport up to 11 people,
up to 1.3 tons of cargo, or a combination of both, with a range
of up to 1,000 km across the rivers of Siberia and the Far East
(wave height limit: 1.5 m). Its dimensions allow for transport
via Russian railways.
The vessel can also serve as a high-speed platform for a
houseboat, a leisure yacht, or a Class "R" passenger vessel
under the Russian River Register.
We offer design
packages and CNC cutting files (kits)
for the DIY construction of the OHTA
yacht.
