"Alfa-40" (project ST40HF) is a project of a modern, economical high-speed vessel. The hydrofoil can be used as a high-speed vehicle for transporting passengers, a traveling or pleasure boat. For approaching an unequipped shore, it can be equipped with a lifting bow wing (optional).

Vessels of the Alfa model range, in terms of ease of operation, rise to the level of planing ships, but at the same time, their power-to-weight ratio at the same masses and speeds is approximately half that required for a planing boat.
