The base vessel for modernization is
the banquet and tourist motor ship "Sura"
- the lead vessel of the PKS-40
project, a shallow-draft paddle
motor ship with an electromechanical
paddle wheel drive.
The ship has 19 cabins, 2
restaurants with 108 and 40 seats.
Built at the Gorodets ship repair
plant for the Nizhny Novgorod GAMA
Group in 2011.
The design of the motor ship uses a
paddle propulsion and steering
complex, developed by the Nizhny
Novgorod designer Evgeny Falmonov in
2001.
