The Vessel Concept Philosophy

The core philosophy behind this vessel concept is the balance between operational economics and modernization potential. In subsequent design stages, three development options are available at the Customer’s discretion:

1. reducing construction costs by downscaling the superstructure;

2. upgrading the quality of interior finishes while maintaining the original construction cost through a reduced superstructure;

3. maintaining the proposed construction cost and the original dimensions of the superstructure.

We consider the third option to be the most viable. In this scenario, the vessel retains a high upgrade margin, allowing it to be easily adapted to a new operational model if the business strategy changes.

Hull dimensions have been optimized to minimize power requirements; therefore, reducing the hull length for the specified speed is impractical. The superstructure can be downscaled by reducing public areas and downgrading cabin classes (e.g., by increasing the ratio of 4-berth cabins). Additional cost reductions could be achieved by reducing the number of en-suite bathrooms and abandoning the isolation of crew and passenger transit routes. However, this approach would severely limit the vessel's capability to accommodate foreign tourists and to comply with future sanitary standards.
