The small-sized research
vessel (hydrographic boat) for the Roshydromet
service (NS18 RGM
project) was developed
jointly by New Shipyard and
Sea Tech and is intended for:
- hydrometeorological and
hydrochemical observations,
- delivery of expeditionary
staff and cargo to the
observation area,
- other tasks corresponding
to technical capabilities.
Operation area - river
mouths and coastal sea zones
with a distance from the
place of refuge of up to 50
miles and sea waves of up to
4 points. The steel hull
ensures invulnerability on
Russian rivers, allows
wintering on the water and
will serve for decades.
Displacement lines guarantee
good seaworthiness even in
serious weather conditions.
The project can be a
universal platform for small
vessels of various purposes,
in particular, a motor yacht
- see
NS18Y.
It can be transported by
rail in an unassembled form.
