Introducing the motor ship MV Sigulu.
The project was developed by our partner,
Icarus Marine Ltd. - a Landing Craft type
cargo-passenger ferry.
A single-hull vessel with simplified
contours, aft engine and wheelhouse, 3
steering columns, a cargo deck and a bow
hydraulic ramp. Amenities on board: a
passenger saloon with soft chairs, a
restaurant, a medical office, a shower,
toilets and a rest room for the crew.
MV Sigulu was built in 7 months and is
currently the largest ferry in Uganda,
capable of carrying 300 passengers and with
a cargo capacity of 200 tons. The operating
area is Lake Victoria.
