The concept of a houseboat based on the PS* vessel hull (Project
792А).
This vessel is quite versatile in terms of navigation area: its low
freeboard and shallow draft allow it to enter most small rivers,
while its seaworthiness is sufficient for Class "R" basins. It has a
fuel-efficient 75-horsepower diesel engine. It is ideal for building
a tourism business. A budget version of a production vessel costs no more than $150,000.
It has great export potential.

* The PS-type vessel is an
open-bore river passenger vessel with a wheelhouse in the middle
section above the engine compartment and a passenger capacity of
100. It was designed by Project 792A of the Volga-Don River Shipping
Company Design Bureau (Rus). These vessels were built in the USSR in the
1950s-1980s.
