The Project MPSV12.05 is an upgraded version of the base
MPSV12 design. It is a multipurpose, shallow-draft Arctic salvage
tug featuring a diesel power plant, a forward accommodation
superstructure, a spacious cargo deck with a crane, and a midship
engine room.
Mission Profiles:
- Patrol & Rescue: Standby duty and patrolling in shipping lanes, fishing
grounds, and offshore oil and gas fields.
- Emergency
Response: Providing assistance to vessels in
distress.
- Salvage & Diving:
Technical salvage operations, emergency
repairs, and diving support at depths up to
60 meters.
- Towing: Offshore
towing in both ice and open water conditions.
- Environmental
Protection: Firefighting of burning fuel on
the water surface and Oil Spill Response (OSR)
operations.
- SAR & Medical:
Search and rescue of personnel and providing
emergency medical assistance.
- Firefighting:
Extinguishing fires on floating structures
and shore-based facilities.
- Logistics:
Transportation of general cargo, liquid
cargo, and personnel delivery.
