Project 03182 is a small sea-going electric-drive tanker — a
multipurpose Arctic ice-class vessel designed for the
transportation of liquid/dry cargo and personnel, as well as for
search and rescue operations. The vessel's design allows for
helicopter operations.
The tanker is intended for offshore supply, patrolling, and
emergency rescue duties in shipping lanes, fishing grounds, and
offshore oil and gas fields. The vessel provides technical
support in hazardous maritime areas, including refloating
grounded ships, dewatering flooded compartments, firefighting,
and towing operations (including ice conditions). Additionally,
the project provides for the collection and transportation of
sewage, gray water, and solid waste.
