The Project NE-020.2 vessel is designed to carry 36
passengers, 20-foot containers (including reefers), general and
bulk cargo (including hazardous goods) between the ports of
Kamchatka, the Commander Islands, and the Northern Kurils.
Vessel type: a steel single-deck cargo-passenger ship with two
cargo holds. It features an aft-located superstructure and
engine room, with cargo holds and a cargo deck located forward.
The hull is designed with a double bottom and double sides in
the cargo hold area, a forecastle, and an extended poop deck.
Power is provided by two main engines driving fixed-pitch
propellers (FPP) via reverse-reduction gears. The vessel is
equipped with a cargo crane for handling operations on
undeveloped shores.
The lead vessel, "Anatoly Cherneev," was completed and
launched in August 2021. Following sea trials, the vessel will
be dispatched to the Kamchatka Territory.
